The next level!

A new blog will be coming soon.
It's been ages, and to be fair there wasn't much to write about that has been positive, so didn't want my blog posts to be all negative!
I finished the season with a half decent race at challenge Barcelona with 8hrs 50min 44sec, but more on that during my next post along with a few exciting announcements for 2014.
Stayed tuned!

New Year Focus

The new year is well and truly set in, and so has the snow!
Towards the end of 2012 things were starting to get better, my injury was improving and I was back to full running, our RaceTime USN Race Team had taken shape with some great sponsors on board and then to finish the year off I managed to get myself a bike sponsor!

Holdsworths Bikes have come on board to support me for 2013. Its going to be great to be working with a great British company with such a rich heritage in British road racing. I will be riding their top of the range road bike for training, the Holdsworth Firenze and I will be racing on a prototype TT bike which I'm really excited about.

I have now just started my prep for my first two Ironmans of 2013, Ironman Melbourne on March 24th, then three weeks after Ironman South Africa on April 14th. I'm really excited to be racing in Melbourne for the first time. It is the Asia Pacific Championships so the field is bound to be massive with good prize money but more importantly big points on offer towards the world championships!

Then three weeks after I race Ironman South Africa for the third time. I love racing there, it's one of my favorite races, great course, great town, great people looking after us and a fantastic and very knowledgeable crowd! It's going to be tough doing two Ironmans so close together but if I want to qualify for Kona then I need to get the points which means racing a lot!

So training is going well into 2013 and to make things even better two great sponsors have just come on board! Dent-Technique and Easystep Stairlifts! These are two Leicestershire based companies that have come on board to help me financially for my flights for Australia and South Africa!

Here's to a great 2013!!
